Like many towns in this Finger Lakes region, Lodi has several wineries and vineyards. You’re close to the spectacular Watkins Glen State Park and its breathtaking gorge trails, and not far from Ithaca, a bustling college town. Lodi Point was a popular stop for lake steamboats in the 19th century.
Local Museums/Landmarks
The Lodi Historical Society is based in the Lodi Historical Building, which has an historic organ and grand piano used for performing arts events. Queen’s Castle, the remnant of a rustic, lakeside camp, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. So is the Lodi Methodist Church, which was built by noted church architect Warren H. Hayes.
