The average one-way commute to downtown Rochester takes about 20 minutes (13 miles). Route 96 gets congested near East View Mall and through the village center during peak commute times. Traffic 88% of commuters drive their own car alone and 4% carpool. Public bus service is available through Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority (RGTA). Canandaigua Lake, one of the regions Finger Lakes is only 11 miles away.

One negative – Victor does not have a Wegmans… however, a couple of the neighboring towns do
