Overview
Wethersfield is a town in central Wyoming County, bordered to the north by Orangeville, to the east by Gainesville, to the south by Eagle and to the west by Java. With a population of fewer than 900, Wethersfield is among the least populated municipalities in the county. The town has dozens of wind-powered turbines atop a hill which can be seen from Route 78. Also in Wethersfield is Camp O’Ryan, a former National Guard training area built in the mid-20th century over 375 acres and also known as the Wethersfield Rifle Range.
Local Museums/Landmarks
